For the ultimate in windbreaks and for length and stability the Dometic 5 pole Pro windbreak measuring over 7.5 meters is also quick and easy to set up the Pro Windbreak gives vital protection from the wind as well as allowing you to help "Stake Claim to your pitch".
The Pro Windbreak features an aluminium frame; this massively reduces the weight of the windbreak and helps prevent corrosion. Additionally, Pro Windbreaks can now be connected using figure-of-8 strips (Sold Separately), to create a larger protected area. If you wish to create an enclosed area, a zip-up door panel is also available to allow access.
Made in the same Pro material as the Dometic pro awnings so that it complements as well as being hard wearing as the awnings it is supported with adjustable support bars.
The windbreak provides a level of privacy but the Crystal Clear transparent panels mean that you’re not cut off completely.

Just the Job
I have been pondering about this Windbreak for some time, mainly due to the cost. As Full Timers, we have had our share of naff gear and decided to splash out with, what seemed, the best. It is pricey but that is reflected in the quality and robustness of the product. It was tested in during Amber Warning High Winds in West Yorkshire. It's still up !! However, there appears to be some deformation of a couple of the poles The only niggle is the lack of instructions and detailed photos as to the correct position of the support poles. I would recommend Google Images and it will make perfect sense. The only reason for 4 stars is that if it's erected correctly AND you don't want the poles on the inside, the good side faces outwards. Having said that, if you want something that doesn't blow away and that looks good, this is the one for you. Service and delivery was excellent

A windbreaker that works.
I've got a couple of windbreakers for our caravan but both are useless to erect in the wind, ironic but true. I decided on the Kampa Pro windbreaker after talking to a fellow camper during a visit to a very windy Slapton sands camp site. I gave up trying to erect the normal windbreaker as it proved to be impossible against such high winds. But just a few yards away was the fellow camper assembling his Kampa Pro windbreaker with ease which made my mind up to buy one on our return home. I looked on line for the cheapest price and found Caperite Leisure to be the cheapest and as it turned out the best to buy from. I say that because the price was right the communication was great and the delivery was free next day. If you are thinking the same as me don't hesitate to contact them you won't regret it.

Kampa Pro 5 Windbreak
I haven't managed to pitch this completely yet because the instructions are not too clear but I've eventually figured it out. Pitching time will reduce with practise once I'm familiar with the setup. The welding on the diagonal telescopic pole loop doesn't look too convincing, so hoping it lasts. Plenty of plastic pegs and peg points. Camperite have delivered a good product and I emailed David about the black plastic cap covers for the end of the poles that were split and is going to get replacements for me.

A Robust Self-Supporting Windbreak
This is a well-made windbreak using quality materials. My previous windbreak was supported with guy ropes which was both inconvenient to erect and cut down space on both sides of the windbreak. The support poles in this case are simple to erect and only need to be placed on one side of the fabric. The quality of the fabric and poles is as good as I've seen and should last many years of happy camping. My only reservation would be that the poles are made of steel, as opposed to aluminium, consequently they are heavy, although very strong. The service from Camperite was efficient. They used a quality courier to make the delivery, the latter providing a 2 hour delivery slot on a specified day which was very useful. Overall a good experience.

Great windbreak
We have not had ours out yet but whilst we were on holiday in May in Devon we saw this windbreak in use and thought what a great idea it was.The additional poles to hold it up are the best feature,we all no how the wind takes a windbreak lol.The see through panels are a great idea as well so you can see what's going on as well.Overall the best on the market,a little pricey but then you get what you pay for!

Excellent product even better service from Camperite
This product is so good I have ordered another one. I paid £2 extra for next day delivery and it was perfect. Spoke directly to Camperite after placing my order as I had to change the delivery to another part of the country. It was no trouble for them and they even talked me through the setup of the product. Great service and the cheapest prices. Will definitely get my caravanning needs from Camperite in future.
